Wine Wednesday. 🍷 Who says there is no rest for the weary? The Rust and Refind (RR) Artisan Market gals (missed you @shawnajeannine ) took time out for another R&R - some rest and relaxation at the Greenhill Winery & Vineyards in Middleburg on this beautiful, non-humid day! It’s a beautiful thing to nourish the mind, spirit and body in more ways than work! Great ladies....and the wine was pretty awesome, too! Vintage Revival Design Co. It's PRIME Day in case you haven't heard...and one of the prime things I have learned, and that my business coach urges us to do, is that we cannot do it all and that it's sometimes best to give up control and delegate those tasks best left to the pros. Hiring to have your home cleaned frees up a lot of time to do those things that are a better use of your time. has a prime special for home the link below for their special prime rates for the Amazon service provider Taylor's Home Services, which has a 100% positive rating.

Love this! First of all, I dislike bullies and people that are mean, unkind and antagonistic. There is no reason for it. At all. Second, I absolutely love when he says “the richest people in the world are not the ones with the most money, but the ones with the most gratitude”. Perfect. And third: live, love and do passionately. I grew up poor, and though at times I wish we were not, I would not change it. It is because of that (and of course the way I was raised) that I value any small life’s achievements, material things, and earning those material things. I do not take life, friendships or relationships, family or anything for granted. And it is why I am not in a “traditional” work environment. I would be miserable (or maybe it would be the commute that would kill me). I love what I am doing. Of course, I would be quite happy with that “millionaire part”..... :o)

As some of you know, my Mother Gladys Walker (and one of my daughters) surprised me with a visit to support the Rust and Refind Artisan Market Launch. I am having post-Launch mopey’’s like after Christmas, and everything is quiet. Everyone is gone. (Albeit I am enjoying a very quiet, couch potato recovery kind of day). I just found a note my mother left my daughter. My mom has always loved to write...and her interpretations of so many of life’s “things” tend to have a whimsy to them such as this “IT” poem she wrote for Lauren Potts. I thought I’d share it...and hopefully this will take your mind off the other “it”.....if some of you were unfortunate and/or brave enough to watch the horror flick, IT. :o). I bet you will never think of IT the same way again...or at least, you will actually think of it.

And, just like that, our Launch weekend for the #rustandrefindartisanmarket is over. Cheers Vintage Revival Design Co. Allison Shortmeyer Interiors Shawna Jeannine KatieDid Designs and MorgaStudio of the Artisan Market. You ladies were fabulous! Applause to the husbands, especially Scott R. Shortmeyer of South Meets North and Gary (Mr. Rust and Refind), and for the moms and dads (John and Gladys Walker) for all the supervision, labor and logistical support over the weekend. Thank you friends, neighbors and family! So many to mention...we were all very grateful for the support, gifts, purchases and spreading the word. Lastly, the Loudoun County and Aldie/Middleburg communities have been overwhelmingly welcoming. So, now it’s time for us to collectively put our feet up, have a glass (or two) of our favorite beverage, and toast ourselves for the hard work we all put into this collaborative venture. It won’t be a long break...we have our August 3-5 market to prepare for, and so many of you have expressed anticipation for what’s next. No pressure!
